Participants on the CCUSA program receive the following as part of their program fees:

• Outstanding customer service from our Canadian CCUSA office
• Face-to-face interview with one of our experienced interviewers
• DS2019 form & SEVIS receipt (required for visa application) and assistance with your J-1 visa application
• Comprehensive travel insurance coverage for the duration of your camp contract period. (*Upgrade to premium insurance option available for a small surcharge)
• Pre-departure orientation in Toronto, Vancouver or over the internet to prepare you for your summer adventure
• Placement at a camp based on your camp type choice and experience/skills
• Assistance with travel to camp from arrival US airport
• Meals and accommodation during your contracted time at camp
• 24/7 support from CCUSA whilst you are in the USA
• CCUSA T-shirt
• Pocket money (wages) for your work at camp (see details below)

FLYING TO CAMP

You will be required to book your own return international flights to the US airport specified by your camp once you have received a placement. You must fly into the airport as specified by your camp (or make alternative arrangements that your camp is agreeable with, ex.- fly into a major hub airport and take ground transport onwards).

WAGES

Your wages, also known as Pocket Money, are determined by several factors:

• Age as of June 1st
• Position you are hired for at camp - Counselor, Advanced Skill Specialist or Support Staff
• The flight option you select

The wage/pocket money is based on a 9-week contract at camp (11-weeks for participants placed at Day Camps) and is paid to you directly by your camp based on their pay periods (weekly, monthly or at the end of the summer in which case you may take pay advances). If you work longer than 9-weeks (11-weeks for Day Camps) you will be paid an additional amount per working day as follows:

• $39 USD per day for Counselor positions
• $49 USD per day for Support Staff positions
