ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Camp Counselors USA provides several events prior to your departure to the USA. Some of these events are optional and some are mandatory (as per J-1 visa regulations). Travel to these events are at your own cost.

Mandatory

  1. An in-person interview for your J-1 visa (required for work at camp) at the US Embassy closest to your location.
  2. A pre-departure orientation conducted by CCUSA. Attendance at one of these meetings is a requirement of the J-1 visa program. Meetings are held in Vancouver, Toronto and over the internet.
