Program Overview

Work Experience USA has earned a reputation as the premier J-1 international work placement program. With Work Experience USA, full-time students can work during summer vacation break from university (for up to four months) from May through September. The job might be similar to the one you have at home, be a valuable work experience relating to your field of study, or something completely new.

Participating on the Work Experience USA program this summer will allow you to work, live and sample the real “everyday” USA!

  • Experience life working at a huge Amusement Park, National Park, Hotel, Restaurant or Retail Store.
  • Increase your employability/CV with an exciting international work placement.
  • Hang out on the beach and work on the boardwalk.
  • If you are independent and resourceful, you can experience living and working in a seasonal area in the USA.
